Prior to attaining his Juris Doctor in Kentucky, Joe worked as an Ocean Engineer in Florida where he designed, permitted and oversaw construction of marina and waterfront developments.  In Florida, the Bahamas and throughout the Caribbean, he worked with owners and contractors to ensure their projects – whether they be a personal boat dock or a mega-yacht marina – were completed on time and within budget.  He later entered law school and gained experience in both civil and criminal law.  With his limited license and while in law school, he prosecuted felonies, conducted hearings and presented indictments to the grand jury.  He also was exposed to a wide array of other practices through his time at small law firms in Northern Kentucky and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Cincinnati.  Joe served as SBA President, was a member of Toastmasters, Trial Team, Dean’s Search Committee and was elected as National Vice-Chair SBA of the ABA Law Student Division.  Joe recently moved to Mount Pleasant where he currently lives.  He is an Eagle Scout, licensed private pilot, licensed scuba diver and proficient in Spanish.   Now, Joe concentrates on construction law and personal injury.
